This heart surgery bear has been designed especially for those having open heart surgery.  This recovery gift is large enough for a man and cute enough for a hospital gift for a child.  It's a firm stuffing made for patients to support the sternal wires after bypass surgery, open heart surgery, bariatric surgery.  It is also used for those having had a c-section. 
The bear sports a set of hospital scrubs that have an imprint of a sewing patch with "PATCHED UP AND READY TO ROCK!" in the middle.
 
These were developed with the help of one of our hospital clients whose cardiologists and critical care nurses helped us to design the perfect chest compression device to ease pain and discomfort while coughing, sneezing, moving or turning over in bed after open heart surgery.
Our Cardiac Bears stand at 17 1/2" tall and are all dressed in cute hospital attire!  Each heart surgery bear is firmly stuffed so it can help hold the patients' sternal wires and stitches in place.
